Introduction

Vidanta is a collection of luxury resorts set against Mexico's most breathtaking tropical landscapes. Nestled in several iconic west coast cities and the Yucatan Peninsula, Vidanta promises an unparalleled dream vacation experience.

Project Brief

The task was to design a microsite to aid the sales team in their resort office presentations.

Research and Inspiration

Vidanta's current website is comprehensive, addressing every potential traveler's query. However, its extensive content can be challenging to navigate in a sales scenario. My role was to streamline and condense this content onto a new platform, creating an easy-to-navigate microsite that consolidates all relevant information.

Design Execution

Leveraging the capabilities of a new tool called Framer, I developed a user-friendly and flexible website suitable for all viewing platforms. During the design phase, I meticulously extracted and condensed the necessary information into single, coherent pages. Framer proved to be indispensable for web page and microsite development, enabling the creation of connected pages and elements optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile viewing.

Outcome and Analysis

In the initial months of use, sales representatives reported that the microsite significantly enhanced the ease and efficiency of their presentations. With all the information centralized and more accessible, finding pertinent details for customers became simpler.

Conclusion

For years, I had not fully embraced web design as a skill to master. However, with tools like Framer, developing such projects has become more intuitive and confidence-inspiring. As a designer, my objective is to create work that effectively conveys a message. This microsite demonstrates that a smaller, well-designed website can be just as impactful for sales as a larger one.
