Introduction:

Reverie began as a luxury travel brand to offer potential vacation-goers dream vacation packages and an online shopping marketplace.

Project Brief:

Design the brand and create the necessary marketing assets including a large printed "dream book" showing off the catalog of resort inventory, marketplace brands, and hotel maps.

Research and Inspiration:

This brand needed to display luxury from the get-go. During the brand brainstorming phase, I generated a few ideas before landing on the final logo. This logo and brand use a subtle gold and black palette with a strong serif typeface for the word "Reverie". For the dream book, I turned to other major travel brands to source inspiration and how they organized their catalog of hotels, resorts, villas, and other amenities. We anticipated a large-scale print piece, totaling over 150 pages when printed. Our goal was to create "a slam-worthy book" when presented to customers.

We anticipated a large-scale print piece, totaling over 150 pages when printed. Our goal was to create "a slam-worthy book" when presented to customers.

Concept Development:

While working with my managers and directors, we decided on a book with a high volume of hotels, resorts, villas, experiences, and other amenities. In addition, other marketing materials such as social media posts, printed advertisements, incentive cards, and member pamphlets would also be built. The dream book was going to be the largest out of several marketing assets so anything created for the book was going to be repurposed for the rest of the materials.

Design Execution:

We began with the book design after we agreed on the final branding and logo design. A template was created for each unique section to allow for ease of content swapping and changes. The entire book was built out and then filled in with all available inventory for hotels, resorts, villas, experiences, and more.

Outcome and Analysis:

This brand and all subsequent materials provided a great jumping-off point for other major brands wanting the same project. In effect, we could change and tailor this set of projects to fit any brand and be more efficient with our time. The Reverie brand was presented and transformed into new materials for 5 major travel brands, saving significant time for each client.

Conclusion:

After creating this brand and marketing materials, a solid template and efficient programming made for massive amounts of time saved when presenting the potential of these materials to other clients.
