Introduction:

Grand Pacific Resorts offers a collection of charming California destinations, perfect for a private, secluded getaway. Club Vacay, its exclusive members-only loyalty program, provides savings and special offers for stays at these resorts and purchases in the online marketplace.

Design an online membership prototype and create supporting assets for web marketing.

Grand Pacific Resorts offers a collection of charming California destinations, perfect for a private, secluded getaway. Club Vacay, its exclusive members-only loyalty program, provides savings and special offers for stays at these resorts and purchases in the online marketplace.

Design an online membership prototype and create supporting assets for web marketing.

Research & Inspiration:

Club Vacay serves Grand Pacific Resorts (GPR) similarly to how a major hotel chain operates its loyalty program. Members gain access to exclusive offers year-round, incentivizing repeat visits. Similar to the El Cid Shop at Home prototype, Club Vacay included additional marketing assets, such as targeted email campaigns for specific properties. Since GPR’s portfolio is smaller, these email blasts and web pages are designed to promote tailored deals for individual resorts as needed.

Design Execution:

Using Figma for both web prototyping and email design, I could easily switch between assets to ensure a cohesive look. The web prototype included mock-ups for member login, individual resort pages, exclusive offers, and a FAQ section. The email designs were created as evergreen templates, allowing quick customization for specific deals or resorts at any time. Each email was optimized for both mobile and desktop viewing to enhance accessibility and engagement.

Outcome & Conclusion:

Club Vacay was a significant success for Grand Pacific Resorts following its launch. The members-only deals and online shopping marketplace enabled users to enjoy more frequent vacations at GPR properties, confident they were receiving exceptional value. Figma’s powerful toolkit once again proved essential, making it straightforward to build a large-scale web prototype alongside smaller marketing assets in one collaborative environment.
